AMERICAN REBEL

Directed by My-Kel Monroe, the video is comprised of behind-the-scenes footage from Persona’s photo shoot with Amber Rose that retells the story from the film, “This is England”. The film centers on a group of London Skinheads hanging in England during the 1960s. It was a time when this particular subculture didn’t bother with politics and race but more fixated themselves on the unisex fashion, music, and lifestyle-alternate to the popular Mod trend. Deviating from the norm and portraying this rebellious attitude, the Skinheads represented a time of change much like the shaven-headed beauty, Amber Rose. This is a great piece to watch.

BAPTISTE GIABICONI: WORLD #1 MODEL

He is on the cover of Glamoholic Magazine but clearly not so much to cover.  Baptiste also wants his fans to dance on his coming up album in September/October. Well, i think we will try. (Hope you know what i mean after his first single a while back: "showtime". I still have a good laugh with my friends over one line of that clip :"what's wrong with you man") By the way, he doesn't drink alcohol and go to clubs? (Maybe his partner got way too jealous if he does?)
Sources close to Lagerfeld disclosed a few details on Baptiste Giabiconi's upcoming wedding details (and he said love was not his priority at the moment?):
* Baptiste will wear a floor-length, one shoulder wedding gown from the Chanel Haute Couture archives and a custom-made, hair gel-resistant veil
* Only 100 of the couple’s closest family and friends will be invited to the ceremony in Vermont, but the event will be live-streamed on SHOWstudio.
* The entire wedding procession will be flown from Vermont to Paris for a reception at the Grand Palais, DJ’d by Chewbacca
* Heidi Mount will be a flower girl.

KISS ME, KATE! - KATE MOSS OFFICIAL WEDDING PHOTOS!

That was the wedding of the year and was the moment the fashion world had been waiting for...
The shots, seen in American Vogue magazine‘s September issue, provide an intimate insight into the July 1 nuptials and Mario Testino, a close friend of Kate’s, has created some of the most beautiful pictures ever seen of the supermodel on her very special day.
The model has revealed that it was in fact the TV documentary My Big Fat Gypsy wedding that made her and Kills rocker Jamie realise that they should tie the know.
She told Vogue: ‘I am so romantic about Gypsies. They’re not allowed to do anything until they get married. So they all get married really young, at sixteen. You can’t believe the dresses. They’re like blinging butterflies times ten; they can’t move down the aisle! It’s so genius.
‘I was just watching Jamie, so cute, and I was like, these girls, they just spend their whole life waiting for that day—let’s do it!’
By the way, I am so proud of her loyalty when deciding on the most important thing of the wedding: the wedding dress. Ahead of the wedding she told Vogue she wanted: ‘A classic Galliano, those chiffon thirties kind. I’ve lived in his dresses for years, and they just make me feel so comfortable. But it’s so much more couture, couture, couture. Oh, my God, the work that’s going into the dress!’
Kate’s father, thanked the designer for his work on the dress during his speech ‘John’s eyes well up’ as he received a standing ovation.
Last interesting thing: the photo of Naomi Campell is in black and white because she was wearing a flurry of lemon-yellow Givenchy gauze - “Trying to upstage me, bitch?” says Kate, laughing.
And i think Kate 76 (official wedding drink) will be my drink for the weekend. Cheers!!

THE SECRET LIFE OF ROBYN

In this intimate portrait, documentary filmmaker and Magnum photographer Jim Goldberg goes beneath the surface of Electro Pop star Robyn’s veracious persona and quirky style. A must watch for Robyn's fans.

FUN GIRL

After taking the globe by storm with their debut EP — and the flashy bombshell lead songstress Nomi Ruiz — New York’s Jessica 6 released their debut See The Light. Formed in 2008, Jessica 6 is a hypnotic Brooklyn-based trio that pushes the boundaries of nu-disco and R&B.
Nomi, who is transgender, quickly rose the disco ranks after her vocal touring collaborated with Hercules and Love Affair. Without even dropping a debut album, Jessica 6 got to tour with Peaches and Amanda Blank. Then there were all those countless high-profile photoshoots and interviews.
Listen to her newest track/video "FUN GIRL" directed by Bijoux Altamirano. - No doubt, this is one serious diva we got.

MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS - ELECTRA HEARTS

The British pop starlet Marina and the Diamonds pops back onto the scene with a short film/artistic album preview directed by Caspar Balslev called “Fear And Loathing” forming part of “Electra Heart". This is a part of the 2-part video installation which concept: “epitomises and embodies the lies, illusions and death of American ideologies involved in the corruption of self.”. Beautiful scenes, watching her apply makeup, chopping long locks into a messy bob haircut - setting herself free from the past and start a new chapter.
Marina: "My worst fear – that’s anyone’s worst fear – is losing myself and becoming a vacuous person. And that happens a lot when you’re very ambitious."
I am speechless and can't wait for part 2.

NICOLA FORMICHETTI

Despite the controversy about his comments on W magazine, we are all have to agree: the guy is a genius.
Nicola Formichetti was born in Japan in 1977 to Italian and Japanese parents, he grew up between the two countries, which are the fashion-industries equivalent of an anorexic midget with arms like Popeye deciding to become a jockey. But moving to London became his great desire and he used the excuse of attending an architecture school to which he was accepted in order to get there. Formichetti has explained that instead of attending he "literally walked in the front door of the architecture school and then ran out of the back one to go clubbing for three years." He became a student of the nightlife and street fashion,He is most widely known as the new creative director for the French fashion house Mugler, and for being a frequent collaborator with singer-songwriter and performance artist Lady Gaga. Formichetti is also known as fashion director of Vogue Hommes Japan, is a contributing editor of several other fashion magazines, and is fashion director for the clothing company Uniqlo.
Talking about his first shoot with Gaga: “She arrived fully dressed, in hair and makeup, wearing shoulder pads and this leather dress and heels and shades—at 8 a.m. on the beach,” said Formichetti, laughing. “I was going, This bitch is crazy! She is the real deal. We fell in love with each other, totally. It felt really organic. At the end of the shoot, she said she was going on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the next day and asked if I could maybe help her with that. So I gave her this amazing Nasir Mazhar orb hat, and she wore it with this cool denim jumpsuit. She sat at the piano and did ‘Poker Face.’ I was completely mesmerized. I’d never really experienced the power of pop music and performance and fashion together like that.”
About Gaga project:" It was like jerking off—doing your own thing and being happy. Gaga made that stuff into a reality."
Formichetti is keen to brainstorm about everything else under the sun: new store concepts, new avenues of retail distribution, new interactive website models—you name it. Clearly, and luckily, he won’t be doing it alone.
And Yes, screw what others say, he is still my hero.

THEY DON'T MAKE WOMEN LIKE KATE ANYMORE

She is a Goddess...
“People think your success is just a matter of having a pretty face. But it’s easy to be chewed up and spat out. You’ve got to stay ahead of the game to be able to stay in it.” -Kate Moss
And staying ahead of the game she continues to accomplish. Katherine 'Kate' Ann Moss (born 16 January 1974, Addiscombe, Croydon, UK)  is one of the most influential, controversial and famous supermodels since 1988 - when she was discovered at JFK airport  by (the founder of Storm Model Management)  Sarah Doukas.
Kate has made a great success in the 20-plus-year career and she has managed to remain right at the top, despite being 5’7 which is short for the world of High Fashion. Apart from her impeccable looks, charm and brilliant modeling work, Kate has been known for dating Photographer Mario Sorrenti briefly in the early nineties at the beginning of her career,  actor Johnny Depp, Journalist and Magazine (Dazed and Confused) Editor Jefferson Hack (whom is the father of their 8 year old daughter- Lila Grace) and Rock Star Peter Doherty. However talented these men are, none of them have had the talent of capturing Kate’s heart. But, in 2007 Musician and Guitarist of rock band ‘The Kills’ managed to capture Kate’s heart after her break-up with Doherty. After dating for 4 years and being engaged for 5 months they decided to tie the knot on the 1st of July, 2011 at St. Peter's church in the village of Southrop,England with the welcoming guests' neon sign: Hapiness is good health and a bad memory. Kate wore a dress created by legendary designer John Galliano and Jamie’s suit was by Stefano Pilati whom is the head designer of luxury fashion house Yves Saint Laurent.
Kate (now 37) continues to make a difference in the fashion world each and every year. She is an inspiration to Designers, Models, Artists, Stylists, Make-Up artists… The list goes on... The best thing about Kate is that you don’t need to be rich and famous to be charmed by her.
Kate claimed to live by the motto: "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" but i think it would be more like "being skinny and healthy feels fucking amazing".
