I FOUND MY LOVE IN PORTOFINO - DIOR CRUISE

This is a sensuous mix of modern and vintage-looking pieces this season for Dior. Film by Ellen Von Unwerth with Dalida’s iconic tune I Found My Love in Portofino creates a mood rich in carefree sophistication, perfect for the classic designs Dior is displaying this season. The video perfectly offsets it’s rich red scene with ethereal whites, ruffles, and simple designs that effortlessly combine to create a luxe Cruise Collection. Even though i still deeply miss John Galliano for Dior but still have to give extra credit for this ready to wear, couture collection. Models: Monika Jagaciak & Antonio Navas ( in love with both)

GIRL PANIC - DURAN DURAN

’80s New Wave band Duran Duran have released a new video for their song “Girl Panic,” off of their 2010 album 'All you need is now'. I had a heart attack before with their 'girls on film' video and now here we go again! The Jonas Akerlund-directed video for "Girl Panic!" stars '90s models Naomi Campbell as Simon Le Bon, Helena Christensen as Roger Taylor, Eva Herzigova as Nick Rhodes and Cindy Crawford as John Taylor. The ladies preen, pose and conduct meta Biography Channel-style interviews about the band's three-decade-spanning career.

BEAT AND THE PULSE - AUSTRA

Austra is a Torontonian New Wave (electro haunt-rockers) band, fronted by singer-songwriter Katie Stelmanis. Beat and the pulse is an amazing dark dreamy song. I am so in love still after 3 months listening.

KINDA GIRL YOU ARE - KAISER CHIEFS

In this video, we sees Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Britney Spears lookalikes involved in a punch-up outside a kebab shop. 'Kinda Girl You Are' is taken from British group Kaiser Chiefs's latest 'The Future Is Medieval'. Very entertaining!

REBEL, ALWAYS REBEL - ALEXSANDRO PALOMBO

This is the latest artwork of aleXsandro Palombo. It is a very special series which expresses an extremely strong artistic sense, an important social message, the true essence of that ironic and provocative world, surreal, irreverent which has always characterized aleXsandro Palombo's artistic universe - presenting Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld, Grace Coddington, Ralph Lauren, Vivienne Westwood and Terry Richardson.

LOV - VANESSA BRUNO

A nordic inspired campaign film for French designer Vanessa Bruno by Stephanie Di Gusto, featuring Kate Bodsworth.  It continues to push the genre and play with the medium in the most beautiful way.  You have to wow to look at that face and admit she is becoming more of a fashion icon. I love Lov.

NAOMI CAMPBELL FOR SOON INTERNATIONAL

Just a handful of girls can give face like Naomi Campbell. That is the reason why she has been in the industry for so long even she is 41 now (past the model standard's "prime"). This month she is bald, glossy and fierce as ever on the cover of Soon International shot by Seb Janiak.

CITIZEN K - GREGORY DERKENNE

The long-time muse of Karl Lagerfeld, Diane Kruger features on the cover of CITIZEN K magazine’s Fall-Issue.  Shot by Gregory Derkenne at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, she transforms into deviant vixen with seductive selects including the designs of Louis Vuitton, Sportmax, Yves Saint Laurent and Calvin Klein. Cinematic makeup by Hung Vanngo. (glad to see a talent originated from Calgary)

TOM FORD FOR GQ RUSSIA OCTOBER 2011

Tom Ford was named Russian ‘GQ’s’ International Man Of The Year, and this title has honored him with the appearing on the cover of the October issue. European magazines are best known for being more provocative than American ones (sometimes they get all the same, boring), but even the photo of Ford testing fragrance strips from a naked woman’s crack didn’t make it on the front. SAD.
Photos shot by Nigel Parry.

IDOL MAGAZINE - THE FUTURE ISSUE

The Future Issue” (their second issue), featuring Jonas Kloch & Ruby Slate Balthazar, photographed by Jessica Klingelfuss and styled by Gabrielle Stival.
Their vision: IDOL is not just a name, IDOL is an attitude, a way of seeing the world without fame-tinted glasses. Born from an adoration of relentless ambition and the ‘go getter’ generation, we seek to bring truly inspirational people to light and give them the recognition they deserve.
I personally think this is one of the best new fashion magazines. They have unique perceptions of the fashion and especially in this issue 'the Future'. Check it out some of their editorials after this.

V MAGAZINE'S BLACK AND WHITE BALL

As Fashion Week drew to a close last month, the A-list of the industry gathered last night for V Magazine‘s Black and White ball. Guests partied at the top of the Standard Hotel, many dressed in the evening’s thematic color scheme. Carine Roitfeld, Theophilus London, Alexander Wang,Prabal Gurung, Linda Evangelista, Cynthia Rowley, Joseph Altuzarra, Lindsay Lohan, Lindsey Wixson, Karlie Kloss. In addition to Sky Ferriera singing "If You Could Read My Mind" and the cast of Priscilla - Queen of the Dessert performing, DJs Lady Bunny and Sebastien Perrin kept the crowd dancing to Beyonce throughout the night. I think this was the highlight party for New York Fashion Week! Wow!

LADY GAGA'S MONSTER BALL - NICK KNIGHT - RUTH HOGBEN

As part of her Monster Ball world tour, Lady Gaga with Nick Knight and Ruth Hogben created a number of films to use as part of her on-stage performance and as interludes in the epic show. Building film into the architectonic feeling of the Monster Ball tour, these four films explore notions of fame, iconicism and life in an evolving metropolis. These are the 3 videos i like most from this series: Poker face, The city and Pawns up!

BALMAIN SPRING SUMMER 2012

Very Chic/Rock & Roll coming from the historic brand of Balmain. Olivier Rousteing (previously spent several years working for Roberto Cavalli) is given the chance to show off exactly why he was named creative director at the tender age of 26. Heading in the right direction, he will be able to leave his stamp on the brand without destroying what was once done by Christophe Decarnin. As some of you know, the sad disappearance of Christophe Decarnin for "health" reasons from the top job at Balmain earlier this year was, unsurprisingly, almost-entirely overshadowed by the deeply unhealthy demise of John Galliano at Dior. Love: buttock-skimming minis, suggestive zips, big shoulders, and jackets with more studded, pearlescent embellishment than a potentate's palace. Hands up for this new designer.

MUST HAVE FOR WINTER: DUFFLE COAT

The duffle coats continuing resurgence was there for all to see on the autumn/winter 2011 runways. It was endorsed on the catwalks by the likes of Burberry, Bottega Veneta, Paul Smith, Acne and Balmain – quite a list of premium fashion houses.
